Work Readiness Training
The Work Readiness programme is designed to prepare people with little or no work experience for the working environment. The modules are aimed at equipping participants with the skills for success in a working environment.
Making the transition from a school leaver/graduate to employee is a challenge to most new entrants to the workplace. The Work Readiness Program aims at bridging the gap by equipping the learner to understand the world of work and achieve success through building skills in self-management, building confidence and self-esteem, creating the right impression and image, adapting to change, understanding workplace structure and relationships, working in teams, business etiquette, communication, conflict management, business writing and managing personal finances.
Learning is fun and interactive and workshops include video clips, group activities, role plays, simulations, quizzes and workplace projects for maximum retention and application of new skills mastered.
Behavioural learning requires re-enforcement to be effective. A Work Experience Review session is conducted on a quarterly basis to ensure application of skills and to further enhance learner competencies to adapt and cope with the demand of the world of work.
We are able to offer a solution in the following format:
•An initial 3 day Work Readiness Orientation Session
•First quarter review session four months after commencement of workplace exposure
•Second quarter review session eight months after commencement of workplace exposure
•Final exit session during final month of contracted workplace exposure
